Eenadu, meaning "today" in Telugu, is the first and largest Telugu-language newspaper. With a 2012 circulation of over 17 million copies per day, Eenadu is one of the largest newspapers in India. It is owned by the Ramoji Group.
Through his Ramoji Group, Cherukuri Ramoji Rao controls the Eenadu newspaper and its related TV network, ETV. In 2014, Rao testified in court in relation to a defamation case that he does not oversee daily news production of Eenadu, despite his position as chief editor.
