Todd Chrisley became a self-made millionaire after founding Chrisley & Company in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2007. Chrisley is best known for his role as the family patriarch in "Chrisley Knows Best," a U.S. reality television show.
Chrisley Asset Management LLC was the primary subsidiary of Chrisley & Company, which specialized in the refurbishment of REO, real estate owned, property. The asset management company was contracted by the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) to upgrade, repair and sell off bank-owned properties following foreclosure.
Chrisley Asset Management is no longer operational. The company filed for corporate bankruptcy at the Georgia Northern Bankruptcy Court on April 22, 2013. In 2012, Todd Chrisley filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection, declaring assets to the value of $4.2 million, $49.4 million in liabilities and $100 in cash.
"Chrisley Knows Best" is a 30-minute docu-comedy produced by Maverick TV and All3Media America, and it first aired on the USA Network in March 2014. The show follows the lives of the Chrisley clan, featuring Todd Chrisley (born Michael Todd Chrisley), his wife Julie and four of their five children: Lindsie, Chase, Savannah and Grayson. Chrisley's eldest son, Kyle, was featured in the first season of "Chrisley Knows Best," but departed from the show for personal reasons.
