Rick Steves, the well-known travel writer and host of the popular PBS series, "Rick Steves' Europe," was divorced from his wife, Anne, in March, 2010. As of 2015, he has not remarried. The couple has two grown children, Andy and Jackie.
An accomplished pianist, Rick Steves developed a fascination for travel as a youth visiting European piano factories with his father. He started his travel-writing career in 1980 with his self-published "Europe Through the Back Door." His one-man business eventually grew to a staff of 80 full-time employees based in Edmonds, Washington, as of 2015. In addition to writing numerous guidebooks, he has also hosted over 100 travel shows for public television as well as a weekly public radio program.
