When Did the First Season of "Ghost Hunters" Begin?

The first season of the paranormal reality television series "Ghost Hunters" began on Oct. 6, 2004. The season ran for 10 episodes and ended Dec. 15, 2004. The show first aired on the Sci-Fi channel, which became SyFy in 2009.

"Ghost Hunters" follows two paranormal investigators, Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, and their small crew as they explore locations alleged to be haunted. In the first season, they investigated locations such as the Mishler Theatre in Altoona, Pennsylvania; Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; the New Boston Inn in Sandisfield, Massachusetts; Race Rock Light in New London Connecticut; and two residences in Albany, New York. The series receives a rating of 6.6 out of 10 stars on IMDb, as of 2015.
