As of 2015, John-David Duggar is not married, nor has he entered into a courtship. Thus, he has not yet had a wedding. Rumors emerged in November 2014 that he had begun courting, but the Duggar family soon after released a statement saying the rumors were untrue.
On one 2015 episode of "19 Kids & Counting," a show featuring Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar and their 19 children, Jim Bob joked that, although John-David was not yet courting, it may not be long before he finds a young lady to court. His twin sister Jana is also not married, although two of their younger siblings, Jill and Jessa, are married to Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald, respectively.
In April 2015, another one of John-David's younger siblings, Josiah Duggar, announced he had begun a courtship with Marjorie Jackson. Courtship is an old-fashioned take on romantic relationships that involves going on dates with chaperones while getting to know one another better before marriage.
John-David serves in Tontitown, Arkansas, as firefighter, first responder and police officer. He also works in construction. He was born on January 12, 1990, and is the second-oldest son in his family. His future plans are listed as getting married on the Duggar Family website.
