Kristian Alfonso and Deidre Hall have both been cast members of "Days of our Lives" for several decades. Both actors have played multiple characters during their runs in the program.
Kristian Alfonso began her career as a figure skater at the age of 13, until a devastating tobogganing accident led her to modeling. She had already landed on the covers of various magazines by the time she was 15, and she made her first appearance on television in the made-for-television movie "The Starmaker" in 1981. She began her "Days of our Lives" career in 1983 as Hope Williams, a character that she still portrays to this day.
Deidre Hall began her career with some modeling jobs and commercial roles that she found through an agent while on a summer trip to Los Angeles, California, while she was in college. Hall appeared on numerous shows, such as"ElectraWoman and DynaGirl," "Emergency!" and "The Young and the Restless," before landing a role on "Days of our Lives." Hall began her career on "Days of our Lives" in 1976 as Dr. Marlena Evans, whom she still portrays to this day, but she also played the roles of Hattie Adams in 2004 and Samantha Evans in 2008.
