David Muir is not married, has never been married and is not linked romantically with anyone. The Emmy Award-winning anchor and correspondent is based in New York with ABC News.
Muir began working with ABC News in 2003. His first position was as anchor for the overnight news program "World News Now." He quickly added co-anchor of ABC News program "20/20" to his duties.
When Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, Muir was in the Superdome. He was the first to report on the devastating conditions inside Charity Hospital and Convention Center. Muir was also in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, reporting the Amish school shootings. He has reported internationally from China, Egypt, South America, Europe, South Africa and the Middle East.
On Sept. 1, 2014, Muir became the anchor for the nightly program "ABC World News Tonight with David Muir."
