Other cast members included the race-car driver Michael Waltrip, ultimate fighter Randy Couture, comedian Tommy Chong, talk show host Tavis Smiley, fashion designer Betsey Johnson and soap opera star and former underwear model Antonio Sabato Jr. Actress Janel Parrish of the television show "Pretty Little Liars" and Bethany Mota, a YouTube beauty expert, were new additions to the cast.
Ribeiro was victorious that year, along with his partner Witney Carson. In a dramatic finish, the pair beat out top contenders Robertson, who danced with Mark Ballas, and Parrish, who was paired with Valentin Chmerkovskiy. As their prize, Ribeiro and Carson were awarded the show's top award, the Mirrorball Trophy.
