"Criminal Minds" is a police procedural TV series that premiered on Sept. 22, 2005 on CBS. The show focuses on FBI behavior analysts and how they user their skills to identify and capture some of the world's most dangerous criminals.
Some of the main cast members of "Criminal Minds" include Thomas Gibson, Sheman Moore, Paget Brewster, Kirsten Vangsness and Joe Mantegna. Mantegna plays David Rossi, the Senior Supervisory Special Agent for the Behavioral Analysis Unit. The position was previously held by Jason Gideon, played by Mandy Patinkin, but Patinkin left the show after the third season due to objections regarding its subject matter. Other cast members include Jennifer Love Hewitt, Matthew Gray Gubler and A.J. Cook.
"Criminal Minds" is primarily set at the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit in Quantico, Virginia.
