Who Created the Show "Major Crimes"?

Jame Duff created the show "Major Crimes" in 2012. It is a successor spinoff of fellow TNT series "The Closer," which was also created by Duff.

"Major Crimes" follows the exploits of Captain Sharon Raydor, played by Mary McDonnell, who is called in to replace Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson. Deputy Johnson, played by actress Kyra Sedgwick, was the main character of "The Closer." McDonnell had previously appeared on "The Closer," and many of the other actors from the earlier program also appeared on "Major Crimes." One of these was actor Philip P. Keane, who plays Buzz Watson on both shows and is also married to creator James Duff.
