Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Ron White are the comedians featured in the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour.” Comedian Craig Hawksley performed in the first 26 shows on the tour before being replaced by Larry the Cable Guy. In 2000, the comedians began touring at Omaha, Nebraska before finishing in Washington D.C. in 2006.
The “Blue Collar Comedy Tour“ was such a success that a live album and movie were released featuring the four comedians. During the filmed tours, all four entertainers appear on stage and collaborate with each other to end the show. The closing act features the comedians telling personal stories and past experiences. The move spawned two sequels and also helped launch a TV series titled “Blue Collar TV” on the WB Network in 2004.
In 2006, the group started a comedy channel on Sirius Satellite Radio called “Blue Collar Radio.” The station features various stand-up acts from all four comedians and other several comedians.
As of 2015 Larry the Cable Guy has starred in various films and launched his own line of potato chips. Foxworthy branded his own line of hunting products and organizes hunting trips. Engvall provides voice-overs for the character Bill Davis on CMT’s animated show “Bounty Hunters.” White still performs stand-up comedy across the country and has also appeared in various films and TV shows.
