How Do You Choose Good Seats Using NJPAC's Seating Chart?

To choose good seats using the New Jersey Performing Arts Center's seating chart, examine the chart and determine how far you wish to be from the stage. You must also decide whether you prefer to sit in a balcony.

The NJPAC consists of two large-scale performance spaces: Prudential Hall and Victoria Theater. Each comes with its own seating chart that you can use to choose seats that fit your needs. Depending on the chosen theater, seats are available on the floor, balcony, or a succession of tiered balconies.

Prudential Hall is the larger of the two venues with a capacity of 2,868 attendees, as of 2015. The spacious hall has three rows of floor seats, as well as four tiered balconies. The orchestra and soundboard are directly in front of the stage. If the orchestra section is not necessary, the staff can raise the floor to extend the stage.

Victoria Theater is a smaller venue with both floor and balcony seating. It can accommodate 511 attendees. Like Prudential Hall, the theater's orchestra section and soundboard are also in front of the stage and can be raised to extend the stage if necessary.

The NJPAC is located in Newark, New Jersey. It hosts symphonies, ballets, concerts and festivals. It is also the home of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra.
