As of October 2015, “CBS News Sunday Morning” is telecasted live in Central and Eastern Time zones and on tape delay in other time zones. "CBS News Sunday Morning" is a 90-minute news television program created by Robert Northshield and Charles Kuralt. It first aired on Jan. 28, 1979.

“CBS News Sunday Morning” airs every Sunday from 7 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. in the Pacific Time zone, 9 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. in the Eastern Time zone and 8 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. in all other time zones. Charles Kuralt hosted the show until his retirement in 1994 and was replaced by current host Charles Osgood.
