Some cars featured at the 2015 Zephyrhills Winter Auction were a 1973 Chevrolet Camaro, a 1971 MG custom-built kit car, a 1960 Chevrolet Impala and a 1934 Ford Cabriolet. In all, nearly 300 vehicles saw bidding at this auction, with over 50 percent selling, according to Carlisle Auctions.
There were quite a variety of vehicles represented here, ranging from American muscle car classics, including a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro with matching numbers, to more common vehicles, such as a 2003 Volvo S60. A 1996 Chevrolet Camaro with only 68 original miles on the odometer failed to sell. The auction also had a handful of motorcycles, mostly stock and custom Harley Davidson models, cross the auction block.
The oldest vehicles represented were a 1923 Ford T Pickup and a 1929 Ford Model A, both of which went unsold. The newest vehicles to see bidding were an unsold 2012 Chevrolet Camaro and a 2012 Factory Five Cobra Roadster that went for $28,000.
The priciest vehicles sold at this auction were a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 and a 1952 Bentley Mark 6, garnering $57,250 and $65,500 respectively. The least costly vehicles trading hands were both Ford Mustang GTs, with a 1989 model selling at $2,300 and a 1999 model getting $2,500.
