Watching television shows on purchased digital media, such as DVDs, is legal, if privately screened. Season two of “Wolfblood" is available on DVD as of August 2015.
The BBC produces “Wolfblood” as part of its children's programming. Part of the first season, which aired in 2012, was filed in northeastern England. Debbie Moon, the show’s creator, conceived the idea when, reading titles on a shelf in a secondhand bookstore, she conflated two titles into one: “Wolfblood.".The “wolf bloods” in this fantasy show aimed at a children’s audience are half-human, half-wolf and can change during full moons but also sometimes at will.
