There are a number of paid subscription services that allow users to stream classic TV shows, such as Netflix, Hulu and Comcast Xfinity. Some of the TV networks also make episodes of classic shows available for free through their websites.
As of April 2015, Hulu hosts many different classic TV shows, such as "I Love Lucy," "The Addams Family" and "Star Trek." Netflix also has a wide range of classic series available, including "Monty Python," "The Brady Bunch" and "The Muppet Show." Both services require a monthly fee to access them, though they also have free initial trial periods for new customers. Subscribers to Comcast's Xfinity TV service can also stream a range of classic shows through the Xfinity website.
Some TV networks make certain classic shows available through their website. TVLand usually hosts full episodes of about a dozen shows online. CBS and ABC also host some classic shows online. Another free option is the classic TV section of the Internet Archive, which hosts a wide range of shows and commercials, most from the 1950s and 1960s. Some popular shows that can be found on the Internet Archive include "You Bet Your Life," "The Lone Ranger" and "The Beverly Hillbillies."
