Subscribe to an Internet, cable or satellite provider, such as Xfinity, DirecTV, Dish Network, Time Warner Cable or Verizon FiOS to watch live TV. You may need a cable or satellite receiver box, depending on the provider. Internet television, such as Sling TV, provides live television through a broadband connection.
Live television is unavailable without an active subscription to a traditional or Internet television provider. Some networks, such as the WWE Network, are only available on the Internet and require a subscription fee. Many traditional television providers offer a selection of channels in addition to on-demand television content through a subscribers-only website or app.
