"Glee" began in 2009 as a show about high school social outcasts who found community in their school glee club. It stars Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison, among others. Morrison plays the school Spanish teacher and faculty leader of the glee club, who hopes to bring the club glory and success in national performances. He also helps to inspire his students, in spite of the cynicism and comedic attempts at sabotage from the rough-around-the-edges cheerleading coach, played by Lynch. The series is rated PG, and it is considered both a comedy and a drama.
