As of 2015, "Classical Stretch" airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings on Iowa Public Television and other PBS stations around the United States. This wellness series is hosted by Miranda Esmonde-White.
Esmonde-White is an advocate for healthy aging and has been hosting "Classical Stretch" since 1999. The show is based on the Essentrics technique that Esmonde-White developed following her career as a professional ballerina. As of 2015, she is based in Montreal and travels extensively to educate people about her wellness techniques through lectures and instructor training seminars. Esmonde-White is also the author of "Aging Backwards," which takes an in-depth look at the role fitness plays in slowing the aging process.
