Amazon.com's Look Inside feature does not support reading full books. The program gives customers the opportunity to view select pages in a book before deciding whether or not to purchase it.
According to Amazon.com, the Look Inside feature helps authors sell more print and Kindle books due to point-of-sale sampling, improved search results and one-click purchasing. While Kindle books are automatically enrolled in Look Inside, authors of print books must fill out a request form to use the feature.
While it is not possible to read full books using the Look Inside feature, sites such as Google Books and Project Gutenberg allows users to read full public-domain books.
