By creating a playlist of videos on YouTube, users can watch uninterrupted streams of funny, educational or musical videos. Playlists automatically play the next video in the list once the current video is finished. Any user can create playlists of her videos or videos from other users.
To create a playlist, first create a free YouTube account. Opening a free YouTube account requires the user to have a Google account, which is also free to create. The YouTube signup process facilitates both creating a new account and linking a YouTube account to an existing Google account. After an account has been established, visit the Channel page that is assigned to all users, and click the "Playlists" tab. From here, choose the option to create a new playlist.
While viewing the playlist editor, users have the option to search for videos throughout YouTube or from videos that the user has already uploaded to their account, and add them to the playlist. The editor also allows users to add a description for each playlist, along with choosing the order in which the videos are displayed. To add a video to a playlist from the video's page, click the "Add" icon below the video, and select the appropriate playlist from the drop-down menu.
