The online editorials Fashion Gone Rogue and Mochi both provide lists of top Asian models. Collectively, the lists feature 12 models and include brief bios of their high-profile accomplishments.
Well-known and successful top models such as Du Juan, Ji Hye Park, Tao Okamoto and Sung Hee Kim are featured on the lists compiled by Fashion Gone Rogue and Mochi. Both of the online editorials profiled three models who are internationally recognized and have helped change how Asian models are viewed in fashion.
For example, Fei Fei Sun, from China, has broken the mold of cover shoot expectations by being the first Asian model to be featured on Vogue Italia, as stated by Fashion Gone Rogue. Additionally, Liu Wen, also from China, shook up the norm for runways when she walked for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, making her the first Chinese model to walk for the lingerie company, according to Mochi. Soo Joo Park, from Seoul, South Korea, has worked with designers such as Chanel and Moschino, and proven her talent by landing the Spring 2015 ad campaign with DKNY that had her shooting with top models such as Cara Delevingne and Emma Waldo.
These top models, as well as the others featured on the lists, have made groundbreaking strides in regards to how Asian models are perceived in the fashion world.
