A list of upcoming "Antiques Roadshow" locations in the United States is available through the Antiques Roadshow On Tour page of PBS.org, as of May 2015. The events only occur in May, June, July and August.
Tickets are required to attend the events. Instead of selling tickets, the "Antiques Roadshow" uses a lottery system. Ticket applications are sent in either online or by postcard. There is a maximum of one application per household, and a person can only apply for tickets to one event per year. Ticket recipients are decided by a random drawing; they receive two tickets in the mail, free of charge.
When applying for a ticket, a person can specify what time of day he wants to attend the event. Each ticket has a specific entry time to prevent overcrowding. Entry times are set up during the morning, midday and afternoon.
All ticket holders receive free verbal appraisals for up to two items. Events have about 70 appraisers who specialize in a broad range of item categories.
The "Antiques Roadshow" takes place in both the United States and the United Kingdom. A list of upcoming locations for the United Kingdom version of the show is available on the Be On A Show page at BBC.co.uk.
