Logan is an award-winning journalist and television correspondent who has reported from war zones and become one of the world’s top foreign correspondents. Born in Durban, South Africa, Logan graduated from the University of Natal with a degree in commerce in 1992. During her studies, she worked as a news reporter for the Sunday Tribune in Durban. She eventually worked at several news stations in the United Kingdom before CBS News offered her a position in 2002. For the next four years, she spent much of her time reporting from battlefields in Afghanistan and Iraq.

In 2006, CBS News promoted Logan to chief foreign correspondent while also contributing to “60 Minutes.” Several of her reports have earned her various awards, including an Emmy and an Edward R. Murrow Award. As of 2015, she remains a part of the CBS News team as a correspondent on “60 Minutes.”
