The episodes originally aired between 1950 and 1967. After that time, the show ran in syndication from 1968 to 1975. It was hosted by John Charles Daly and featured a panel of celebrities who asked contestants a series of questions. The answers helped the celebrities guess the contestant's occupation. Celebrity panelists throughout the years included Dorothy Kilgallen, Bennett Cerf, Arlend Francis, Louis Untermeyer, and Steve Allen. According to Wikipedia the show won three Emmy Awards and is the longest running game show in the history of television in the United States. Originally called "Occupation Unknown," the show was produced by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman.
