David Baldacci's first published novel was "Absolute Power," which was released in 1996. Clint Eastwood later direct and starred in a film adaptation of this novel. Baldacci has published 30 bestselling novels, as of 2015. Movie studios have made several more of his books into films. Publishers have translated his novels into over 45 different languages and sold them in over 80 countries.
Other examples of books by Baldacci include "The Target," "King and Maxwell," "The Whole Truth" and "Deliver Us From Evil." Many of his novels are parts of series, including the "Camel Club" and "John Puller" series. Baldacci has also published several novels for young adult readers. One these novels is "The Finisher," which is in production to become a feature film, as of September 2015.
Additionally, David and his wife, Michelle, run the Wish You Well Foundation, which helps foster and promote the expansion and development of literacy programs in the United States. This Foundation partnered with Feeding America to help heal the connection between poverty and literacy.
