BIt ispossibel to design blank postcard templates in Microsoft Word through the Template menu. Word has several pre-made postcard templates available by default, which are easy to edit and change to fit your needs.
To begin designing a postcard template, open Microsoft Word and click on the File menu. Select New, followed by Blank Document, Cards, and then Postcards. A menu with available postcard templates then appears. Choose the preferred layout and card size from the available options. The template appears in Microsoft Word as two facing rectangles, representing the front and back of the postcard.
Click on the default image on the front of the post card, then press the Backspace key to delete it. Open the Insert menu, and select Image, then browse the computer to find the desired image for the front of the postcard. It is possible to adjust the placement and size of the image in Word, but for more significant changes such as color correction, it is necessary to use an image editing program. On the back of the postcard, click on the lines and shapes that make up the template. It is possible to move lines, add default text and delete shapes to create a custom postcard template. When finished, use the Save As menu to save the postcard as a new template.
