Full Answer

Amazon Instant Prime Videos can, however, be streamed on a computer using a Web browser. The streaming capabilities can also be used to watch the video on Amazon Instant Video compatible devices such as Fire tablets, Internet connected televisions and Blu-Ray. Some Amazon Instant Prime Videos are only available to be streamed and cannot be downloaded into the Kindle Fire devices.

With an Amazon Prime membership, videos that have been downloaded to Kindle Fire devices have to be first played between 15 and 30 days after downloading, and after the video has begun, the viewer has 48 hours to finish watching it. After this period, the videos are removed from the devices. If an Amazon Prime membership expires or has been cancelled, Amazon Instant Prime videos are no longer available for viewing.
