If you worked on a movie, television show or web series, you are likely eligible for a listing on the International Movie Database, or IMDb. To add yourself to the IMDb, find the title of the movie or show that you worked on, and fill out a form on the IMDb website stating your occupation (if you were a member of the crew), or your character (if you were a member of the cast).
Before filling out an edit form on the IMDb, first make sure your name isn't already listed on the website. Next, make sure the IMDb lists the movie or show that you worked on. If your movie's not listed, you can add it through the New Title Submission Form.
Once the title is on IMDb, go to the title page, scroll down to the bottom, and click "Edit Page." Under the heading "Cast and Crew," find which department you worked in, and from here you can add your name to the credits. Next, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Continue."
Then, fill out a short form, including your full name and a description of the work you did, or the character you played, for the particular movie or television show. To complete your update, click "Submit These Updates," and your changes are sent to the IMDb Data Editors for checking. You also receive an email confirmation of your submission.
