Shooter Jennings, born Waylon Albright Jennings, is the son of country music icons Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter. He spent his early childhood traveling in his parents' tour bus surrounded by country legends including Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson. Jennings' debut single, "4th of July," from his first album, "Put the 'O' Back in Country," was released by Universal South Records in 2005. The album reached number 22 on the Billboard country charts. He has since released five additional albums including "Electric Rodeo" (2006), "The Wolf" (2007), "Black Ribbons" (2009), "Family Man" (2012) and "The Other Life" (2013).
Jennings married actress Misty Brooke Swain on June 4, 2013, in Joshua Tree, California. He was previously engaged to "The Sopranos" actress Drea de Matteo. The pair never married, but they have a son, Waylon Albert, and a daughter, Alabama Gypsy Rose.
