Megyn Kelly is a journalist who appears as an anchor on "The Kelly File," as of 2015. The show airs on the Fox News Channel, and Kelly joined the Fox Broadcasting Company in 2004. She formerly worked as an attorney and holds a degree from Albany Law School.
Although Kelly no longer works as an attorney, her litigation skills are a selling point for "The Kelly File," which features investigative reports in addition to covering breaking news stories. Prior to beginning work on the show, she held several other anchor and co-anchor positions for programs such as "America Live" and "America's Newsroom." She also co-anchored "America's Election HQ" with Bret Baier on the Fox News Channel during both the 2012 and 2014 elections.
In addition to her law degree, Kelly also holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science, which she earned from Syracuse University. She was born on Nov. 18, 1970, and is the mother of three children. Her last name was formally Kendall, but she divorced ex-husband Daniel Kendall in 2006. She subsequently married Douglas Brunt in 2008. Brunt was the CEO and president of Authentium at the time of the marriage, and he then went on to become a novelist.
