Catherine Coulter is well known for her FBI series of 18 books that includes "The Cove," "Power Play," "Split Second" and "Riptide." She is also known for her historical series, such as the Night Trilogy, contemporary romantic thrillers, contemporary romance, and a number of single novels and publications.
The FBI series, which extends from "The Cove" to "Power Play," mainly focuses on the two central characters, Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock. Common elements in the book series include serial killers, acts of terrorism, grand larceny and other crimes. The series also features recurring characters who are involved with these difficult scenarios. Coulter's other series are focused on love and romance or history. For example, her Viking series delves into Viking cultures and customs, while her Magic Trilogy features a medieval English backdrop.
Catherine Coulter has not released any new publications as of May 2015; however a new paperback version of "Power Play" is expected for release on June 30, 2015. Additionally, she and fellow writer J.T. Ellison are writing the newest edition of their series "A Brit in the FBI," set for release on September 15, 2015. Coulter is also expected to release the 19th installment in her FBI series on July 7, 2015, titled "Nemesis."
