"Superfudge," by noted children's author Judy Blume, is the second book in the "Fudge" series. It concerns the continuing adventures of 11-year-old Peter Hatcher and his family, most notably his madcap younger brother "Fudge."
In this sequel to Blume's award-winning "Tales Of A Fourth-Grade Nothing," protagonist Peter Hatcher learns that a new addition to his family is on the way. He is initially hostile to this change, as he already has his hands full dealing with his energetic and trouble-making younger brother Fudge. Through a series of adventures in the book, Peter comes to realize that, although exasperating, he does love his siblings.
