Bob Seger was born on May 6, 1945, in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Throughout his career, he has been a part of three bands, Bob Seger and the Last Heard, Bob Seger System, and the Silver Bullet Band. Bob Seger reached a peak musically when he was with the Silver Bullet Band between the years 1976 and 1987. During that time, he released the album "Against the Wind" and earned his first number one album on the Billboard chart.
