Tavior Mowry is a sociology major at the University of California, Davis, and he is also a member of the university���s football team. Mowry was redshirted in 2011, and therefore, he did not play in any games, although he was still considered to be an official member of the team. Tavior Mowry was born in Fort Irving, California, and he is the youngest of four siblings. Mowry began his football career as a player for Westlake High School. During this time, he set several school records for rushing (3,278 yards) and touchdowns (43), and he achieved a record 19 touchdowns during the 2010 season. Mowry was a two-time All-Marmonte League honoree during his high school football career, and he was also given the All-Ventura County distinction as a senior. In 2009 he helped lead his high school team to the Southern Section title.
In 2011 Mowry began attending the University of California, Davis, but he took a redshirt year as a freshman. The following year he appeared in only four games, partially due to injuries. In 2013 Mowry appeared in nine games, and he started two times that season against Northern Arizona and Idaho State. Mowry performed well during the 2013 season, earning at least 37 rushing yards in each of the first three games he played.Learn more about Literature
