Alice Elizabeth "Beth" Chapman is a television producer and reality television actress best known for "Dog the Bounty Hunter" and "Dog and Beth: On the Hunt." She is the fifth and current wife of Duane "Dog" Chapman.
Beth Chapman, born Alice Elizabeth Smith, was born on October 29, 1967, in Denver, Colorado. Her father, Garry Smith, was a professional baseball player in the Professional Baseball League in the 1950s. When she was 29, Beth Smith became the youngest bail bondsman ever in the state of Colorado. She became known as Beth Chapman in 2006, when she and Duane "Dog" Chapman were married. Beth Chapman has four children, including two with Dog, named Bonnie Jo and Garry. She is stepmother to the nine children from Dog's previous four marriages. The family currently lives in Hawaii.
Chapman has produced three reality television series regarding Dog's bounty hunting business, and now runs their joint bail bonds office while often going bounty hunting with her husband. Beth and Dog co-star in the most recent series, "Dog and Beth: On the Hunt." In this show, Dog and Beth travel from Hawaii to failing bail bondsmen agencies to help them improve their business. The couple advises bail bondsmen on efficient tracking, equipment training, bond writing and overall business efficiency.
