According to Amazon.com, the bestselling novels of 2015 include psychological thriller, "The Girl on the Train," "All the Light We Cannot See," "Go Set a Watchman," and sci-fi survival story "The Martian," which was also released as a film. Amazon's list doesn't just include novels, however, but lists the site's overall bestsellers across genres. As a result, works of nonfiction such as "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up" and children's books such as "First 100 Words" made the list.
Amazon does separate its bestseller lists into print and ebooks. The ebook list contains variations on the print bestseller list. The top spot on the print bestseller list is "First 100 Words," while "The Girl on the Train" holds the top spot on the ebooks list. The ebook list contains more novels than the print list, while the print list features more children's books and coloring books. The novels "Gone Girl" and "Dark Places," for example, hold numbers 14 and 19 respectively on the ebook list but do not appear at all on the list of bestselling print books.
Amazon also features links to its bestsellers lists since 1995, allowing users to view and compare top books over several years.
