Maria Bartiromo is a television journalist, columnist and an author of several books in the field of business and economy. As of 2015, Bartiromo is the Global Markets Editor of Fox Business Network. She is the anchor of the FBN show “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo” and hosts “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo” on Fox News Channel. A native of New York, Bartiromo studied journalism and economics at New York University.
Maria Bartiromo is a well-known face in her industry. She worked at CNN for five years as a producer, writer and assignment editor for some of the channel’s top business programs. In 1993, Bartiromo joined the business cable network CNBC. She was a key figure on CNBC where she launched the morning program “Squawk Box” and hosted “The Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo.” She was also the anchor and managing editor of “On the Money with Maria Bartiromo.”
Bartiromo was the first journalist to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. She is a recipient of two Emmys and a Gracie Award. She was also named as one of the “50 Faces That Shaped the Decade” in 2009. She is the author of the book “The 10 Laws of Enduring Success,” published by Random House in 2010.
