Anne-Sophie Mutter is famous for her work as a violinist. She is well-known for her repertoire of classical music, as well as her work with artists such as Sebastian Currier, Zubin Mehta and Henri Dutilleux.
Mutter was born in West Germany in 1963 and made her public debut at the Berlin Philharmonic at the age of 13. She made her debut in the United States in 1980, performing as part of the New York Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta. In 1998, Mutter played the entirety of Beethoven's violin sonatas, which were recorded on CD and DVD and broadcast on TV in many different countries.
