Who Is Anne Curtis?

Anne Curtis is a Filipino-Australian actress and singer best known for her roles in movies "Green Rose," "No Other Woman" and "Baler." Her film "No Other Woman" earned her a FAMAS award for best actress and she has been nominated for several other awards, including two Luna Awards and six PMPC Star Awards.

Anne Curtis was born in Victoria, Australia, in 1985 to a Filipino mother and Australian father, granting her dual Filipino-Australian citizenship. In 1997, her family moved permanently to the Philippines, and Anne started to perform in beauty pageants and work with talent agencies. Anne's first role was in the movie "Magic Kingdom" as Princess Dahlia, after which she won the part of Emily in the popular TV show "TGIS." Her first acting award came from the movie "Baler" in 2008, for which she won a Metro Manila Film Festival Award for Best Actress.

In 2011, Anne released her first singing album "Annebisyosa," which reached platinum status within the year. Since then, she has held several concerts and won awards for subsequent movie "No Other Woman." The actress is the first Filipino celebrity to reach one million followers on Twitter. As of October 2015, she is working on future projects with Sandra Bullock, Fan Bingbing and Meisa Kuroki.
