Former NBC News television host Ann Curry is married to Brian Ross, a software executive she met while a student at the University of Oregon. The couple has two grown children: daughter McKenzie and son William Walker. The family resides in New Canaan, Connecticut, as of 2013.
As a teen, avid volleyball player McKenzie has modelled for charity and graced the pages of Teen Vogue magazine. As of 2015, she is 22 years old. Nicknamed Billy, William Walker is two years younger than his elder sister.
Born in Guam of an American father and a Japanese mother, Curry was briefly the main host of the "Today Show" in 2011 but was unceremoniously fired after faltering ratings. As of January 2015, Curry left NBC News to develop a media start-up company with NBCUniversal. This new working relationship also allows her to report the news on any media platform and network, including NBC News.
