Actors who were part of the original "Agents of Shield" cast include Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge. Brett Dalton was also part of the cast during its initial season.
Clark Gregg plays the role of Agent Phil Coulson, who works for Strategic Homeland Intervention in the Enforcement and Logistics Division. Prior to this role, Gregg appeared in "Iron Man," "Iron Man 2," "Thor" and "The Avengers." Gregg was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but moved around a lot as a child. In 1986, he graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He is a founding member of the off-Broadway Atlantic Theater Company.
Ming-Na Wen has appeared in over 60 episodes of "Agents of Shield," playing the role of Melinda May. Born in 1963, Wen is a Macau-American actress who is known for being the voice of Disney princess Fa Mulan in the films "Mulan" and "Mulan II." Her first television role was on the children's program "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" in 1985. Since then she has appeared in numerous television shows, including "Inconceivable," "Vanished," "Two and a Half Men," "Private Practice" and "Boston Legal." She was also a series regular on "Stargate Universe."
