Semaphore Timeout

A semaphore timeout is a networking term. When multitasking, there are specific tasks that must occur before others can begin. Semaphores manage these tasks. If a semaphore times out, one knows that there is very likely a problem with the networking traffic. It is a message displayed as a caution in any computer networking environment.
