Arithmetic reasoning questions are a part of the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, commonly known as the ASVAB. The ASVAB score determines which career paths a recruit will be best suited for. A sample question might ask how much 33 per cent is of 400, for example. Persons interested in a career with the armed services should strongly consider being fully prepared to take the ASVAB.
