Aboriginal tools are simply items used as a means to an end by indigenous peoples of any area. Aboriginal peoples are those who occupy a space originally without migration. A tool is something that facilitates the ease or efficiency of completing a task. Most aboriginal tools, especially as we look further into history, were simply found items like rocks, sticks, and other naturally occurring
. objects. Most would intuitively agree, that the use of tools is a natural human tendency. The use of tools spawns from the need to satisfy basic human needs like food and shelter. Bamboo shoots can be stacked end to end and tied with dried leaves to form rafts, walls, ceilings, and so on. A rock can be used to hammer a stake (another tool) into the ground, or used to kill prey. As time progresses, these tools become more and more complex. When aboriginal groups come into contact with other groups the tools develop further.
