Cells come in a variety of shapes depending on what the function of the cell is. There isn't really a tally that says if most cells are flat or round. There are are an infinite number of cells on the planet so it is nearly impossible to tell. Plant cells tend to be flat and uniform in shape. They have a rigid cellulose cell wall which enables them to stack together like bricks. They need to lay
. flat to give the plant shape and rigidity. Animal cells are usually round or irregular in shape. They do not have a cell wall because then need to be flexible. The function of animal cells is also much different than that of plant cells because animals need different things in order to survive. So to determine if most cells are flat or round we would have to tally how many plants there are compared to animals. It is, however, safe to say that most animal cells are round and most plant cells are flat though.
