Abnormal Wbc Esterase

Abnormal WBC Esterase is also known as Leukocyte Esterase. It is a urine test to look at white blood cell count and signs of infection. If the test is abnormal, it primarily means there is a urinary tract infection. The use of this test is to primarily identify white blood cell count in urine as signs of a urinary tract infection. It is used by placing a dipstick in urine.
