Be sure that you have all of your ingredients and supplies before canning sweet banana peppers. Some people will purchase a pressure canner, but it can be done without one. Be sure that you have fresh and crispy banana peppers. Many people will use the ones grown in their garden to keep the cost down. Cut up the peppers, remove all of the seeds, and them boil them.
