The Rend Lake Fireworks Festival is held over the 4th of July. The event is held at the Rend Lake Dam and Visitor's Center near Benton Ill. This year's festival included live music by Sojourn and S.I. Concert Band. The area's largest fireworks display was accompanied by live music by the S.I. Concert Band.
