Possessive Pronouns

Possessive pronouns is a part of speech that shows ownership. Take for example the sentence, "That purse is mine." "Mine" is the possessive pronoun. Possessive pronouns are generally used to substitute a noun. There are seven possessive pronouns commonly used. They include: mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, and theirs.
